The contest of ESGnews.bg “ESG AWARDS” 2024 for the first time today will honor the best companies and organizations in Bulgaria that have a positive impact on the environment, society and good governance.
The winners in “ESG AWARDS” 2024 will be awarded in four categories – "Sustainable Strategy", "Sustainable Leader", "Sustainable Investor" and "Sustainable Supply Chain Management". The grand prize in the competition is "Visionary for Sustainable Change", which will go to the three companies rated with the most points in all categories by our authoritative jury. The methodology for evaluating candidates in the competition was developed in partnership with the academic community.
Two special awards will also be presented – readers award on ESGnews.bg and a special award from the team of ESGnews.bg.
During the ceremony of presenting the first awards to ESGnews.bg we will have the opportunity to hear the inspiring speech of the Executive Director of the UN Global Compact Network in Switzerland and Liechtenstein, Mr. Antonio Hautle, as well as to enjoy a visionary conversation on stage between the Honorary President of the Jury, Mr. George Kremlis and Mr. Mrs. Ivelina Vasileva.
Strategic partners of the first academic ESG awards in Bulgaria are the Bulgarian Network of the UN Global Compact and the Faculty of Economics and ESG Lab of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski".
