Agrion presented the agricultural Oscars of Thrace to the best farmers from the region

The largest land property management company "Agrion", a member of KRIB, presented the Agricultural Oscars of Thrace to the best farmers from the region.

Albina Yasinskaya and Stanimir Lapatarev received prizes in the "Farmer of Thrace" competition.

Albina Yasinskaya is the founder of the biofarm "Rozino", located on an area of 1800 decares between Karlovo and Klisura. It breeds bio-certified "Jersey" cows and "Bulgarian Murra" buffalo4. A wide range of meat and dairy products are produced from the raw materials, including mozzarella, burrata, artisanal ice cream with its own brand.

Albina is a certified teacher at Carpigiani Gelato University – the only artisan gelato university in the world. Most of the flavors in the rich portfolio were developed by her. Two of the processing plants are in Rozino, and the third in Sopot, implemented with funds from the Rural Development Program. The finished product, also bio-certified, is distributed in its own stores and restaurants.

Stanimir Lapatarev is an example of how, with a lot of work and love for the land, the agricultural sector can develop and upgrade. The business started in 2011 with 20 acres for rent in the village of Trud. To date, he cultivates over 3000 acres, of which 2000 with wheat, sunflower and corn. He grows vegetables on the remaining 1000 acres. It mainly relies on pepper, eggplant, tomatoes, leeks, green onions, green garlic, radishes, cabbage, cauliflower, zucchini. Some of them are seen in greenhouses on an area of 20 acres.

"It is an honor for us, in the year in which the most successful brand in agriculture - Agrion, turns 10 years old - to present awards to young and successful farmers. We are sending another difficult period for agriculture, in which we once again prove that only together we can win the battle for quality and abundant agricultural produce on the Bulgarian table," Agrion commented.
