REGARDING: Requests of KRIB Pernik in connection with the distribution of COVID - 19 and the protests held in the city of Sofia and regions in the country

DEAR MR. IVANOV,

On behalf of KRIB Pernik, we appeal to you to find solutions acceptable to all of us regarding the increase and strengthening of measures for the prevention of COVID-19 in connection with the spread of the disease, which has grown considerably in the last few weeks, respectively the number of sick persons .

The town of Pernik is only 20 km away. From the city of Sofia, many of the people who live here travel and work in the capital, and our goal is prevention of the health of everyone, as well as to prevent a mass spread of the infection in entire enterprises, commercial chains, municipal and state institutions, etc. n. in the Pernik region. Our requests and proposals to the governing body are to issue an order for mandatory wearing of protective masks, keeping distance and disinfection in any case of gathering of more than two people, including mass events, events, etc. regardless of whether they are outdoors or indoors.

KRIB Pernik states its position and respects the right of citizens to protest peacefully in defense of their rights. However, this should not be done at the cost of a gross violation of the rights of the country's residents, and it is unacceptable not to respect the Constitution and the laws of the country.

We ask that an order be issued for protests to be held in precisely defined places, suitable for the purpose and compliance with strict anti-epidemic measures, with control over the execution of the order and sanctions imposed on violators.

With respect,

Georgi Milev
Chairman of the Board of Directors
